I haven't planted anything outside but I have started the tomato's seeds and put them outside in the sun during the day
there about 3-4 inches already . around here the neighbor kids destroy it if you don't have the time to watch it 24/7.
Hopefully we get this new house so I can put a little garden out and not worry about it.
or buy them upside down thing and put them on the porch where the kids won't get to them
I planted my Veggie garden the 1st week of April. When they said frost, I never covered anything. I do this every year. If they die, they die. I love diggin in the dirt. I now have blooms on several of tomato plants. They are about 2 feet tall and real bushy. We have green onions and radishes ready to eat. So far everything is surviving.

I usually plant tomatoes and green bell peppers until these unruly kids moved in town who ever thought of going around stealing tomato's and throwing it at everyones house/car . I guess with the economy so bad kids can't even come up with a few dollars for toilet paper or eggs anymore LOL
Oh Wow, I know someone jumped my small flower bed Garden and broke one of the wooden fence panels in 3 pieces and fell into one of my Plants and left a round broken spot right in the middle. I didnt see it happen thou. I cant even imagine why anyone kid or Adult would have a need to be in anyones Flowers etc. I know I taught my Son better than that.
