Thanksgiving in the Park

Come join Ikon Community on the day after Thanksgiving for a Turkey lunch/dinner with our homeless friends who live in and around Grape Day Park in Escondido.

Our hosts will be Cory & Crissy Verner, who have spent the last several months getting to know an amazing group of people at the Park and they'd like to treat their new friends to a great Thanksgiving:

* What: Thanksgiving lunch!
* Where: Grape Day Park, Escondido Ca.
* When: November 26, 12PM
* Why: Hello…food and friends!

The Verners are expecting roughly 50-80 people, so we'll need lots of help to make sure everyone has an fantastic Thanksgiving. We need people who can bring something from the list below, both enough for yourself and several others. We need:

* Turkey sandwiches
* Stuffing
* Potato Salad
* Fruit
* Trimmings (mayo, mustard, cranberry sauce, etc)
* Bottled water
* Plates, forks, knives, napkins, & cups.
